Fundamentals of Arts Board Membership – 17 Sept

Calling all Trustees and Arts Board Members (or those considering joining a Board)!

Learn about all things Arts Board Membership and network with others at Cultúrlann Uí Chanáin on 17th September! This workshop looks at best practice and at the realities of arts charity governance. We’ll take a thorough look at the compliance requirements of being on a Board, covering roles and responsibilities plus managerial, legal and financial duties. But that’s only half of the picture!

Taking this session is Brona Whittaker, Head of Arts at Arts & Business NI. Brona has been working in the cultural sector in Northern Ireland for almost twenty years and during that time has worked with cultural organisations across Belfast including the Lyric Theatre and Replay Theatre Company. Brona leads on the design and delivery of A&B NI’s programme of fundraising and governance support services for the cultural sector.
