On Sunday 31st August 2025, Jason Lovell was announced as Winner of The Seamus Heaney Award for New Writing 2025 at the Seamus Heaney HomePlace, in Bellaghy! Jason won the award for his poem, Flower Pressing for Beginners.
CAP’s ceo, Conor Shields, compèred the launch event for the new Poetry in Motion Community anthology, Measure. The poets on the Long List for the Seamus Heaney Award for New Writing, gave a reading of their work and had a little chat with each poet afterwards.
