ART EXHIBITION and SALE: 18-20 June – apply by 15 May

Newtownbreda Presbyterian Church (St John’s) on the Ormeau Road, is planning its 9th Art Exhibition and Sale from 18-20 June 2026 and we are inviting entries from local artists of all ages.

The exhibition provides a great opportunity for aspiring artists to display and sell their work; our limit is 400 paintings.

The main rules are:

  • Paintings may be submitted in oil, acrylic, water colour or pastel medium and must be the original work of the artist.
  • Each painting must be framed, with rings and sufficient cord for hanging tied securely to the back together with a label giving the artist’s name, title of work and price. The price must include the cost of framing.
  • A fee of £5.00 per painting is payable with your entry, with a maximum of four entries per artist.
  • A commission of 25% will be levied on all sales; all proceeds will go towards Church Funds.
  • While precautions are taken for safety of all work submitted, the Church accepts no responsibility for loss or damage, and exhibitors are advised in their own interest to take out adequate insurance cover.
  • Pictures/paintings should be submitted on Monday 15 June between the hours of 10.00 am – 12.00 noon; 2.00 – 5.00 and 7.00 – 9.00 pm. Special arrangements can be made, if necessary, to receive exhibits before this date by contacting me in advance.
