Somewhere between a play, concert and an art piece, this richly layered project is another thoroughly impressive piece of Dumbworld’s continued challenging and engaging output. The brainchild of renowned Irish composer Brian Irvine – an Olivier Award nominee, four-time Ivor Novello and British Composer Award Winner, and directed by John McIlduff.
This intimate and challenging work of contemporary music theatre begins with the discovery of a single bone, unearthed during archaeological excavations in Kilkenny’s Abbey Quarter. Throughout, audiences are invited into a living excavation.
