Ballycastle’s First Rock and Blues Festival set to Launch This July

This summer, music lovers are in for a treat as the inaugural Ballycastle Rock and Blues Festival comes to town from 17-19 July 2026, bringing three days of unforgettable live performances to the heart of the Causeway Coast.

Featuring over 30 gigs across local bars and hotels in Ballycastle, this Rock and Blues Festival is set to transform the seaside town into a vibrant celebration of the best in local and national rock and blues music. From high-energy electric sets to gritty blues riffs and soulful acoustic sessions, the weekend’s diverse programme will offer audiences the chance to explore the town, discover new artists and soak up the unique atmosphere.

“Ballycastle has always had a strong musical spirit,” said Festival Committee Chairperson Frank Wright. “We’re excited to be working with Ballycastle businesses to bring together outstanding musical talent and the town’s celebrated hospitality, to establish an event that will become a highlight of the summer calendar for years to come.
