Northern Ireland Opera and Diva Opera present Giacomo Puccini’s timeless opera La Bohème on 16 May 2026 at 7 pm, staged in the stunning Gothic interior of Carlisle Memorial Church, Belfast. Set in 1890s Paris, experience the passionate, tragic love story of the poet Rodolfo and seamstress Mimì, alongside the bohemian lives of friends Marcello and Musetta.
Starring Northern Irish soprano Mary McCabe as Mimì, Robyn Lyn Evans as Rodolfo, with Tereza Gevorgyan as Musetta and Jean-Kristof Bouton as Marcello, this collaboration between NI Opera and the internationally renowned Diva Opera places audiences at the heart of the drama. The production will be performed in the round with a Steinway grand piano. The ticket price includes an interval reception with drinks and canapés.
