Sixteen Northern Ireland immersive art projects will benefit from funding to support their creative development across sound, music, theatre, dance, game visual arts, sculpture, photography, animation, architecture and filmmaking.

The grants being received by Northern Ireland artists range from £2,000 to £50,000 and will fund artists’ practice, working with a huge range of immersive technologies including virtual, augmented and mixed reality, 360o film, spatial sound, haptics and tactile interfaces, artificial intelligence, biofeedback and responsive environments.
Immersive Arts is co-funded by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland along with The Arts and Humanities Research Council and our arts funding colleagues across the UK, with Nerve Centre, Derry/Londonderry leading delivery in Northern Ireland.
