Arts & Business Bites- Membership That Matters: The Black Box – 18 June

In this session, we’ll spotlight The Black Box, a vibrant, not-for-profit arts space in Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter, known for its boundary-pushing programme spanning music, theatre, comedy, film and more. Established as a fringe-style venue and now a key part of the city’s cultural ecology, The Black Box is rooted in accessibility, experimentation, and community-led practice.

We’ll take a closer look at their MY BB membership scheme, a low-cost, community-driven model that supports the venue’s work while offering meaningful value to audiences. With this, we will explore how membership can function not just as a revenue stream, but as a tool for building deeper relationships with audiences, and what others can learn from this approach!

This will be a webinar format; cameras can be turned off and mics muted can be muted during the conversation. Questions and the call will be monitored by A&B NI staff. Please keep this in mind when joining the call
