Creative Writing Weekend Retreat at Sentry Hill – 25 and 26 Apr

Would you like to try your hand at writing?

Are you a secret scribbler?

Or have you already begun developing your writing practice? Join us for a two-day writing retreat set in Sentry Hill, a beautifully preserved 19th-century Victorian farmhouse.

Explore the house and its surrounding grounds to spark your creativity and inspire new ideas. This retreat is perfect for complete beginners as well as those who are already writing. Led by poet and writing facilitator Dr. Stephanie Conn, you’ll be gently guided through a weekend of engaging writing exercises and activities designed to help you generate your own original work in a relaxed and supportive environment.

You’ll also explore a range of texts – poetry, fiction, and non-fiction – to see how established writers express themselves, using their work as a springboard for your own creativity. Please bring along a notebook and pen, a packed lunch, and a ‘have-a-go’ attitude!
