Design Stories was a collaborative project with Belfast School of Art Graphic Design students and Blick Shared Studios with support from Golden Studio which engaged local design students in a placemaking and communication project.
This event will include a central showcase of a series of printed posters from the Design Stories project alongside a motion design piece which will be projected in the Belfast Stories Building. A heritage venue that will be home to the upcoming Belfast Stories museum in the coming years.
Focusing on researching Belfast City and finding stories about local architecture, people, history, events, words and motifs that are unique to the city. This research inspired the students in visual storytelling and developing “place branding” or an identity using type and image designed to help a wider audience connect with the stories they have created.
Please note as this is a heritage building yet to be renovated, numbers are limited so you must book a ticket to view the showcase. There are also no toilets on site or disabled access.
