The Ludo Dao Intercultural Music Competition invites musicians from diverse cultural traditions across the island of Ireland to present their own musical heritage within the context of Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, Belfast 2026.
This initiative creates an opportunity for performers from outside traditional Irish music backgrounds to take part in the Fleadh as representatives of global traditional music and intangible cultural heritage.
Participants progress through a three-stage intercultural journey, culminating in professional recording and public presentation during Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann Belfast 2026.
