Ever wanted to make some noise and be part of a carnival street band?
Beat Carnival is looking for budding percussionists to join a free 5-week training programme where you’ll learn the rhythms, energy and performance skills of carnival drumming.
Open to all ages, this is perfect for beginners or anyone who fancies trying something new. No experience needed – just come along, pick up a drum and get stuck in.
Over 5 weeks you’ll learn how to play together as a band, build your confidence and meet others who enjoy music, creativity and a bit of craic along the way.
By the end of the programme, the group will be ready to take to the streets and share the sound of carnival.
Children (16 years and under) must be accompanied by a parent/ guardian for the duration of the workshops/ events.
