Bangor Castle’s Walled Garden will again host the much-anticipated ForM Sculpture Exhibition this June, transforming the historic space into an outdoor gallery throughout the month.
Showcasing over 40 works by artists from across the island of Ireland, the exhibition brings a diverse range of contemporary sculpture into a beautiful natural setting. Visitors can encounter artworks set among the garden’s colourful planting and established greenery, offering a different perspective at every turn.
The exhibition includes a mix of large-scale installations and more understated pieces, encouraging visitors to explore the garden at their own pace. ForM continues to appeal to a wide audience, whether you have a strong interest in the arts or are simply seeking something different to enjoy with family and friends.

Patricia Hamilton, Arts Officer at Ards and North Down Borough Council, said:
“We are delighted to see ForM return to the Walled Garden. The exhibition goes from strength to strength each year, highlighting the quality and range of work being produced by artists from across the island of Ireland. Set within the garden, the artworks offer visitors a really engaging way to experience sculpture in a natural environment.”
Running from Monday 1 June to Tuesday 30 June 2026, the exhibition is free to attend. From 1 June, the Walled Garden is open 10am–8pm, Monday to Thursday, and 10am–6pm at weekends and on Bank Holidays.
Maps are available at each entrance to help visitors navigate the exhibition, and a selection of the sculptures will be available to purchase.
