Michael McGovern is a Glasgow-born folk artist whose poetic lyricism and fingerpicked guitar have marked him as a rising force. His debut Highfield Suite, produced by Bill Shanley, drew wide acclaim, while new release Thin White Road expands his sound with rich full-band arrangements. “I love it! What an unexpected gem!” says Paul Brady, while Paul Mescal has praised his songwriting as deeply moving and timeless.
