International & Irish submissions are accepted for any poetry-film under 10 minutes (English subtitles are required for non-english language films)
Films must have been completed since the 1st of May 2024
Broadly speaking, a poetry-film is the translation of a poem into film form, by way of interpretation that features the entire poem, either visually and/or audibly
30 shortlisted poetry-films will be screened in Cork in November 2026 The International winner receives €500 and the Ó Bhéal festival award
15 Irish poetry-films will also be screened, with the winning Irish poetry-film receiving a prize of €250
