The Playhouse seeks Creative Facilitators to join the That’s Powerful creative facilitation panel – closing 18 May

The Playhouse is inviting expressions of interest from experienced creative facilitators with an interest in social justice to join the That’s Powerful creative facilitation panel.

That’s Powerful is a strand of Making Peaceful Change, supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). This project harnesses the power of the arts and storytelling to engage people in exploring and understanding rights-based social justice issues.

This opportunity will best suit creative facilitators who have demonstrable experience in working with communities in a socially-engaged, co-designed way and who place social justice and human rights at the heart of their arts-led practice.

We are currently recruiting for a panel of facilitators who will be contracted to deliver a number of 8-week contracts with various groups, within one of 3 geographical delivery areas across Northern Ireland and the border counties of the Republic of Ireland.

  • Delivery area 1: Derry, Tyrone, Cavan, Monaghan
  • Delivery area 2: Donegal, Sligo, Leitrim, Fermanagh
  • Delivery area 3: Antrim, Down, Armagh, Louth

Facilitators will sit on this panel from May to December 2026 and will ideally have flexible availability within this time period.

This is a paid opportunity (£40/€45 per hour + travel, with accommodation covered where needed), running May–December 2026, with flexible availability. You’ll also be part of a supportive network of artists committed to positive change.
