Belfast Buildings Trust is inviting audience members to Threading Voices, a free series of documentary film screenings at the Black Box, that explores Belfast’s history through the story of Carlisle Memorial.
Created by artist and filmmaker Jonathan Brennan, the films combine archival research, interviews and cinematic storytelling to explore stories connected to linen, architecture, migration, youth culture and community in Belfast.
Each film is under an hour long, making it easy to pop in over lunch or after work. And it might just change the way you see the city….
Screenings:
- Monday 20th July- Linen (1pm), Architecture (6pm).
- Tuesday 21st July- Migration (1pm), Youth Culture (6pm).
- Thursday 30th July- Community (6pm).
