Writing is a solitary endeavour and requires tremendous self-motivation and courage, but daily life often gets in way. Accessing a dedicated space to write (that isn’t the kitchen or free-seat in the cafe) can be a blocker. So too, can carving out time in your diary to write. The confidence to step into your work and take your place as a writer, is another. Then there’s momentum, the challenge of building progress over time. And the elephant in the room— writing alone.
