
The countdown is on to one of the most anticipated cultural celebrations of the year, with a packed programme of events set to transform the borough into a vibrant hub of culture, creativity and community from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 September.
Returning bigger and better than ever, this year’s Culture in the Park event promises something for everyone, bringing together music, language, dance, food, heritage and family-friendly experiences across an exciting three-day programme.
The celebrations will begin on Friday evening in the Marketplace Theatre with the University of Ulster’s Flourish workshop, showcasing both Ulster-Scots and Irish language traditions, highlighting the rich cultural heritage and exploring backgrounds, stories and shared connections.
On Saturday, Lurgan Park will come alive for the main event, with a packed programme of activities, entertainment and experiences for all ages, celebrating the rich mix of cultures and communities that make our borough such a special place to live.
From lively music and energetic dancing to delicious world food and creative crafts – there’ll be something to enjoy around every corner…
