Queen’s University Belfast is introducing a limited number of free places on selected Open Learning courses for refugees and asylum seekers in Northern Ireland aged 18+.
This opportunity forms part of the University’s developing Sanctuary Scholarships, designed to provide different pathways into learning and higher education for people from refugee and asylum-seeking backgrounds.
The pathways currently include access to Academic English summer classes and now Open Learning short courses. Undergraduate and postgraduate scholarship opportunities are currently being developed and will be launched soon.

The session will provide an opportunity to learn more about Open Learning, explore the courses available and ask questions.
