Discover the art of printmaking by learning how to carve and print your own rubber stamp designs. Create unique greetings cards by tracing and transferring images onto a 6×4 inch lino block, then use lino cutters and a scalpel to carve your very own designs. There will be a range of reference images to trace of come prepared with an idea to create your own from scratch.
Experiment with ink pads to print patterns, textures and creative compositions. You will leave with your very own stamps and a range of greetings cards using your designs.
No prior experience necessary. Please note that this workshop is for adults aged 18+ due to the use of sharp carving tools. As we will be working with permanent ink that an old apron/clothes is advised.
