eduSOIL CIC invites schools, youth organisations, arts organisations, community groups and families to register young people leading community change to represent Northern Ireland at the Be The Change 2026 gathering in Athens Greece bringing together youth leaders from 30+ countries.
This opportunity is for young people who are making a difference. Perhaps they have challenged an inequality, responded creatively to an issue affecting their community, improved wellbeing, taken environmental action, campaigned for change, or developed an arts-led response to something they care about. The eduSOIL team will support adult mentors (teachers, youth workers, artists) to use the globally recognised FIDS methodology — Feel, Imagine, Do, Share — to support young people to document and share their youth-led action as part of the Design for Change movement.
From Northern Ireland’s registered Stories of Change, one lead Story of Change will be selected to represent Northern Ireland at Be The Change 2026 in Athens, Greece, where young changemakers, educators and partners from around the world come together to share youth-led solutions and celebrate change.
One cultural performance will also be selected to represent Northern Ireland, creating another opportunity for our young people to share their creativity and culture on an international stage.
Registrations are open to everyone who submit Stories of Change.
- Cost: £2400
- Recommended Age: 12+
- Registrations close 12 October 2026.
