DU Dance (NI) is inviting applications from experienced fundraising and development consultants to work with us during an important period of organisational development.
Supported through Dormant Assets NI, delivered by The National Lottery Community Fund, this consultancy will provide dedicated fundraising and development expertise across the organisation from November 2026 to September 2027.
DU Dance are looking for someone who can work strategically and practically; helping us identify and pursue new income, develop relationships with funders and partners, strengthen our approach to fundraising and establish systems and knowledge that will continue to benefit DU Dance (NI) beyond the consultancy period. This comes at an exciting point for the organisation. With new artistic leadership, our 20th anniversary approaching and a new organisational strategy to be developed for 2028 onwards, we are thinking ambitiously about the work we make and support, the partnerships and places through which that work happens, and the long-term financial resilience needed to sustain it. The organisation is interested in finding a consultant who can become a trusted collaborator in that process.
AT A GLANCE
Engagement: Freelance Fundraising and Development
Consultant Fee: £350 per day
Time commitment: Equivalent to approximately one day per week, deployed flexibly across the contract period
Contract period: 1st November 2026 – 30th September 2027
Location: Belfast, with flexible and remote working by agreement
