Raised on Clare Island off Ireland’s Atlantic coast, Niall McCabe has become one of Ireland’s most compelling contemporary songwriters. Blending the storytelling traditions of Irish folk with the warmth of Americana, his beautifully crafted songs are carried by a rich, unmistakable voice and a gift for quietly affecting storytelling.
Following acclaimed albums Rituals and Stranger, McCabe has performed at the Grand Ole Opry, Celtic Connections and Cambridge Folk Festival, and toured with Transatlantic Sessions, Foy Vance and Amble. We’re delighted to welcome Niall back to Roe Valley Arts.
