PS² – PeasPark – 25 Sept

PeasPark – a ‘6-week temporary project’ – is still going strong after thirteen years! Community gardening and art are still building community on a former interface.

PS² is bringing a little bit of our North Belfast corner to PS² on High Street for this one-night only pop-up. Join us, residents, gardeners, and artists for a look back at our (first?) 13 years.

Someone had the bright idea of planting a few spuds and peas one summer. Dazzled by the sun we said YES! and all these years later we have gathered a range of films, paintings, prints and words that tell our story to share.

Introducing a new film by Michael Morrissey and Chris McSherry, alongside an archive documentary from the early years by Caroline Magowan and many contributions from the people of PeasPark down through the years, and featuring artwork by Duncan Ross, Laura Nelson, Fiona Lovely, Lightbox Willie and many others who have made PeasPark what it is today.

Not a bad innings for a temporary project! Refreshments will be served

PS², 31-35 High Street, Belfast BT1 2AB
