Sinéad Willox is an Armagh-born folk singer celebrated for her distinctive voice, unique style, and ability to weave story and song with natural affinity. A winner of multiple All-Ireland Oireachtas titles in duo and trio performance, as well as best show case for Ballyshannon folk festival, Sinead has been singing since childhood and brings both depth and versatility to her craft.
Hailed by Tumble and folk magazine as a “sublime act”! Sinead’s stunning debut album, ‘Seoda Uladh’ – Jewels of Ulster, is a musical map of Ulster, celebrating the rich musical heritage of the province. The album re-imagines lesser-known traditional songs in both English and Irish from each of Ulster’s nine counties, beautifully re-worked and brought to life with fresh contemporary folk arrangements. The handpicked collection is inspired by themes of home, heritage and belonging.
