Thrive – Board Members – closing 16 Nov

Thrive is currently recruiting for new Board members.

We’re looking for new Board members to help us deliver our purpose of better telling the story of cultural engagement in Northern Ireland.

Based at the Crescent Arts Centre in Belfast, thrive supports the arts and heritage sector through research, evaluation and marketing. Our free resources and tailored support give organisations the tools to understand their audiences and help their organisation thrive.

Who we’re looking for

Before recruiting new Board members, we complete a skills audit to understand where our gaps are and reflect on the current context for thrive.

For this round of recruitment, we’re particularly looking for people with skills and experience in:

  • Financial understanding and experience: Financial procedures, charity accounting, audit processes, internal controls and VAT.
  • Policy expertise and knowledge: Experience of policy making in the arts or heritage sector in Northern Ireland, or direct relationships with those setting policy.
  • Data security expertise: Cybersecurity, data protection, or experience of overseeing or advising on AI adoption and its risks within an organisation.

These are the priorities for this recruitment, but if you’re interested and don’t have experience in these areas, we’d still like to hear from you.
