Pooka Party & Other Stories Exhibition Launch – 2 (launch) to 30 Aug

Shona Shirley Macdonald, an award-winning illustrator and author from Co. Waterford, Ireland, specialises in books and large-scale murals. Her debut picture book, ‘The Pooka Party’ earned a spot on the 2020 IBBY Honour List and received multiple award nominations. Her recent collaboration, ‘Girls Who Slay Monsters’, won Children’s Book of the Year: Senior at the An Post Irish Book Awards 2022 and was nominated for the 2024 Yoto Carnegie Medal for illustration. This exhibition features a collection of illustrations and drawings from her various publications, including ‘The Moon Spun Round ‘, ‘An Feileacán agus an Rí’, and new etchings, highlighting her artistic journey.
