Save Echo Echo Dance theatre Company – Letter Writing Campaign

Echo Echo Dance theatre Company have launched a Letter Writing Campaign to help save the company.

“We are asking you to write to the Communities Minister Mr Gordon Lyons MLA, to express your support for Echo Echo Dance Theatre Company after its annual funding grant of £112k was completely cut by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.

As it stands this cut will mean that within the next few months all staff will be made redundant and Echo Echo Studios will close.

To address the areas of criticism, made by the Arts Council in the assessment of the company and its work, it would be useful if you could respond according to your experience with Echo Echo as honestly and in as much detail as you can.

Please give a reasonable amount of detail about who you are, what your background is and how you came into contact with Echo Echo, Steve Batts, Kelly Quigley, Ayesha Mailey, Tonya Sheina and/or Zoe Ramsey.”
