I am a Fine Art graduate from Ulster University specialising in figurative painting. My work explores the dynamics between individuals within domestic spaces, traditionally linked to the feminine, capturing intimate moments and the untold stories beneath them. My recent achievement—placing second in the Terry Bradley Art Prize—gave me the opportunity to exhibit in the Titanic Museum, the N.I. Executive Office in Brussels, and Stormont.
My current exhibition, Silent Conversations, presents portraits of friends, reflecting personal connections and inviting viewers to interpret the subtle narratives within each scene. Inspired by artists like Vermeer, Manet, Hopper, and Matisse, I focus on light, texture, composition, and the interplay of pattern and color. The figures in my work are absorbed in their surroundings, often unaware of the viewer, creating a psychological charge. Through these works, I aim to evoke themes of privacy, intimacy, and the complexities of human experience
