Fighting Words NI are seeking four groups to receive a year of free Fighting Words NI workshops, residentials and more. Our branch of the Youth Action NI ‘Shared Agenda for Peace’ project is now going NI-wide under a new name, “Peace by Piece”.
Peace by Piece is a free creative writing project for young people aged 11-25 across Northern Ireland. Whether its podcasting, comic book writing, journaling, novel writing or something else, we have a creative writing project for you! We will be working with youth groups once a month for a full year to develop young people’s creative writing skills, confidence, and wellbeing.
The project will also pair together groups from different social and cultural backgrounds to progress peace and connection in our increasingly diverse communities. On top of all that, we’ll also be offering free training opportunities and qualifications to the youth group’s volunteers and leaders to keep the creative and cultural growth going long after the project ends.

- Developing the Organisation
