The Colour of Water – An Exhibition by Tracie Corry and Rosalind McConaghy – 1 Apr (launch) to 2 May

Prizewinning artists Tracie Corry and Rosalind McConaghy come to the ArtisAnn Gallery in Belfast for a joint exhibition of new paintings.

Tracie experiments with different approaches when making her artworks, including expressive watercolour techniques, mixed media processes and hybrid printmaking. She has exhibited widely and this year she will be exhibiting at the European Confederation of Watercolour Societies in Gdansk.

Her watercolours have won the UWS President’s Award, the Desmond O’Kane Award and the WCSI Dr Pat McCabe Award.

Rosalind McConaghy’s work reflects a sensitive and intuitive response to the natural world. Her art draws inspiration from the shifting light, coastal atmosphere and beauty of the coast. She creates paintings that capture the energy of landscape, flowers and still life, shaped by colour, movement and the interaction of paint and water on paper.

Her watercolours have won honours from the Ulster Society of Women Artists as well as the UWS Haughton Prize.

You can also buy art from this exhibition through the Own Art scheme which gives you an interest-free loan over 10 months (and you still get to take the art home immediately the exhibition ends).
