As everyone arrives at a new financial year, the Arts Council of Northern Ireland looks back at the successes of the last. Growth in digital and immersive tech and arts content is reaching more audiences, local theatre is still able to bring productions from here to Broadway and back home to tour, and successful artist showcases at international festivals helps build awareness of the strength of talent in NI across Europe. Artists and arts organisations from Coalisland to Enniskillen, from the Causeway Coast to Strabane, continue to produce high quality, boundary-pushing creative work across Northern Ireland.
During this period, we celebrated 30 years of our partnership with National Lottery – The National Lottery Celebrates 30 years of Game… | Arts Council NI, we launched the Championing the Arts 2024-2034 Strategy , which provides a focused, outcomes-based vision of the next 10 years of ACNI, as well as investing in the Rural Engagement Arts Programme and Mental Health and Arts Programme development funds, ensuring health and wellbeing and access to the arts for all remains at our core.
