JLF Island of Ireland – 22 to 31 May

The inaugural edition of JLF Island of Ireland, scheduled to take place across a ten-day run between venues in Belfast, Armagh, Dundalk and Dublin from 22–31 May, 2026, has unveiled an early peek into its programme and the conversations that will shape its diverse narrative.

Supported by the Department for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Government of Ireland, and the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, JLF platforms internationally recognised writers, historians, academics, poets, playwrights and musicians from across the island of Ireland, India, and beyond.

The Festival is FREE, open to all and promises to be another highlight in Northern Ireland’s cultural calendar
