This project has been nearly 10 years in the making and has only been made possible through the support and encouragement of the local community. For that reason, Merrow Hotel and Spa believe the next stage should be shaped by local voices and input.
As the organisation prepares to bring this North Coast destination to life, there is a competition to celebrate and showcase local creativity.
Situated right on the Causeway Coastal Route next to one of Portstewart Golf Courses overlooking Rinnagree Point with unrivalled views of sea and sunsets, on the start/finish line of the North West 200 and home to the original historic Portrush Railway Station Clock believed to be the world’s largest free-standing Grandfather clock….. Merrow Hotel & Spa has lots of inspiration to offer.
There is an invitation to creatives from all disciplines —applied artists, designers, makers, and storytellers—to submit work inspired by the area’s history, beauty, spirit and tell Merrow Hotel and Spa what the North Coast means to them.
Winning entries will be featured throughout the hotel, with opportunities to advance to potential contracts
