Foyle Obon Festival 2026 presents – An Evening with San Jose Taiko! – 6 June

The internationally renowned taiko ensemble San Jose Taiko will return to Derry Londonderry this June as the Foyle Obon Festival expands into a full week-long celebration of Japanese arts, culture, and community connection.

The festival will culminate on Saturday 6 June at 7pm with An Evening with San Jose Taiko & Friends, a vibrant finale concert at The Playtrail on Racecourse Road featuring San Jose Taiko alongside local community taiko performers and Bon Odori dance. Refreshments will be available as part of the evening celebration.
