ForM Sculpture Exhibition 2026 Winners Announced

The 2026 ForM Sculpture Exhibition was formally launched at Bangor Castle’s Walled Garden on Thursday 28 May, with the Mayor of Ards and North Down, Councillor Gillian McCollum, opening the exhibition.

Delivered by Ards and North Down Borough Council, the exhibition is now in its 15th year and continues to be a key fixture in the local arts programme. This year’s showcase features more than 40 sculptures, carefully positioned throughout the Walled Garden, offering visitors the opportunity to experience art in an outdoor setting.

Congratulating the artists, the Mayor said:

“I would like to congratulate all of those recognised this year. The standard of work on display is extremely high, and the exhibition adds greatly to the experience of visiting the Walled Garden. I encourage everyone to take the opportunity to explore it over the coming weeks.”

Arts Officer Patricia Hamilton added:

“This year’s exhibition brings together a wide range of approaches and materials, highlighting the strength and diversity of contemporary sculpture. Artists have responded thoughtfully to the setting, creating works that sit naturally within the garden. As the landscape changes throughout June, the exhibition continues to offer something new for visitors.”
