The Arts Council/An Chomhairle Ealaíon’s Irish-language Theatre Award supports the development, generation, and creation of high-quality Irish-language theatre, as well as its presentation to audiences. Strand 1 and 2 of this award are supported by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
The Irish-language Theatre Award is open to professional artists and organisations with a demonstrable track record in theatre practice. There are three strands to the programme and you can only apply to one strand in this round.
