Bruiser Theatre Company is delighted to be a collaborator on EQUAL ARTS 2024–2026, an Erasmus+ project supporting greater gender equality and balance in leadership and management roles across the performing arts, dance and media sectors.
Led by InDance International (Spain) in partnership with European organisations including Bruiser Theatre Company (Northern Ireland) and Skill Up Srl (Italy), EQUAL ARTS brings together partners from Spain, Italy and Northern Ireland with a shared ambition: to support women aspiring to leadership and management positions within the performing arts.
The project explores gender disparities within the sector, identifies the barriers that impact women’s progression into leadership roles, and develops practical training and educational resources to support greater inclusion, confidence and opportunity. Through research, collaboration and the collection of real-world case studies and best practice, EQUAL ARTS will create a suite of digital learning resources, including a training curriculum and micro-learning course designed to support educators, trainers and learners across the creative industries.
