“The ISLAND Arts Centre is delighted to launch its Sept–Dec 2026 Season Programme, continuing the celebrations of 25 Years of creativity following a hugely successful Children’s Arts Festival and August Craft Month.
This vibrant new season offers something for everyone. Live performances include audience favourites Celtic Soul, Emer Maguire, and The Man Who Swallowed a Dictionary, alongside the return of our much‑loved Vinyl ISLAND music nights. Our exhibition programme features stunning work from Lagan Valley Patchwork Guild, Valerie Giannandrea McKeag, Seacourt Print Workshop, and Twenty Five, a special showcase marking our anniversary year.
Workshops and courses for adults, children, teens, and families are available throughout the season. New additions include Stamps for Printmaking, Autumn Tonics, Wood Turning, Festive Napkins, Beginners’ Photography, Yoga for Teens, and Family Festive Treats. Our ISLAND Youth Theatre Academy also returns, offering young people the chance to develop their dramatic arts skills under the guidance of industry professionals.
Chair of Communities and Wellbeing, Councillor Sharon Lowry, said: “I am delighted to announce the launch of the new season at ISLAND Arts Centre. There is a fantastic range of events and activities available to the whole community. It’s an exciting season ahead, and I encourage everyone to explore what’s on offer—whether that’s learning a new skill, visiting an exhibition, or enjoying one of our many live shows.
