Community Arts Partnership is involved in regional and international research.
Research – Regional
We have recently been awarded funding for the following projects:
- Community Arts in a Rural Context (partner RCN) funded by Building Change Trust – 2 year action-based study
- Older Artful People, dementia focus (partner Alzheimer’s Society and Belfast Trust) funded by ACNI, one year action-based study.
Research – International
- City (Re)searches : This research-feasibility study is an interdisciplinary arts-based inquiry, which engages ordinary people about their cultural rights. The research spans four nations centred around the 2nd cities in Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Lithuania and Holland. The research project is funded by Culture Europe with a 2-3 year inquiry through public faculty.
- 20:20 Vision is a policy development international research forum which spans Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Lithuania, Holland, Belgium, Sweden (CXL, Trans Europe Halles, Demos). The objectives of the forum are to realize the 20:20 Vision document.
There are over 100 cultural groupings involved in both research processes.
