As a Community Artist and Crafts person, I have developed good working relationships over the past 22 years with several organisations including Play Resource, The Education Authority, Engage with Age, Arts Care, BMC, Healthy Cities, Men’s Shed, National Deaf Children’s Society, New Lodge Arts, HMS Caroline learning, North Down Museum, Ulster Museum, East Side Community Partnership, Castlereagh & Lisburn Borough Council and Belfast City Council. Workshops have been delivered to all ages from primary to pensioners and across all social settings including marginalised groups such as Travellers, The Deaf community, teenagers excluded from school, people with a disability and people living with dementia. Working across statutory, voluntary and community bodies has also helped me to identify training opportunities and create new innovative courses and training programmes aimed at improving practice and delivery of art & craft in community settings. I have a broad skill base covering a wide range of crafts.
