Hi, I’m Karen a freelance visual artist based in Northern Ireland .I studied at the University of Ulster in Belfast , after I got my degree in Fine and Applied Art in 2005 I started working with community groups facilitating and managing art projects .I have worked with many different groups over the last 19 years .Recently I have been working in various Men Sheds facilitating art projects and rolling out pyrography workshops with Action Mental Health Men Sheds.
I work with all sorts of materials and mediums including , paint, wood burning, mixed media , mosaic , textile art, resin art, still life drawing , inks , print , cement moulding and much more .
When I’m not workshopping, I’m busy developing my own art practice as a painter, I’m currently working on a new body of work .
